Buggy

Welcome Buggy into the Olson-Hinman home!  I have been wanting a bug for a while now and finally pulled the trigger.  Going to use this site to document how I will restore this little guy hopefully into a sleek, styling, smooth machine. BUGGY'S ORIGIN STORY: I've been reaching out online (mostly Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist) to find a bug that would fit me.  It seems there are either fully remodeled bugs out there ranging from $15K - 33K which look beautiful, or there are junkers which range from ones without motors ($2K) to bugs that need work ($11K).  I made a few contacts, most notably Haley Harnish who works for Harnish Motors.  She had a little VW that looked like Herbie the Love Bug.  They wanted $6,000 for it.  It looked in really bad shape, so we passed on it, but made a friend in the process.  Haley loves all things bug and VW Bus.  She collects them and has some sweet models in her shop.  Her passion really excited me ...
